Governor Of Kaltara Hands Over 910 Land Certificates Owned By Border Residents

MALINAU Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Zainal A Paliwang handed over 910 land certificates to border communities in Long Pujungan and Bahau Hulu sub-districts, Malinau Regency.

The land certificate distributed by the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of Kaltara was symbolically received by 11 residents of Long Pujungan Village and Bahau Hulu Village who were present in Pujungan Village, Tuesday, December 12.

"This is a Land Certificate Redistribution Program. This is to ensure ownership of what is managed and utilized so far," said Zainal.

The governor hopes that future land certificates can help the community in business and developing the economy and improve their standard of living.

"The involvement of these various parties proves that the presence of the state in protecting territory and sovereignty in the eyes of the international community, especially at the Border," he explained.

The North Kalimantan Provincial Government together with the National Land Agency (BPN) will continue to strive by implementing the Redistribution program to communities in the border areas in the future.

"In the future, the Provincial Government of North Kalimantan will always provide full support and synergy of the community so that the program launched can run better in realizing a changed, advanced and prosperous North Kalimantan," he concluded.
