Sber Presents Development Strategy 2026 Towards Human-centered Development
MOSCOW - As part of Investor Day, Sber's team reviewed the results of the company's 2021-2023 Strategy and talked about a new Development Strategy until 2026. As a result of the 2021-2023 strategy, Sber's retail customer base grew by 10 million to 108 million, while Sber got 500,000 new corporate clients to reach a total of 3.2 million. This team has provided innovative resilience and development by ensuring technological independence and achieving breakthroughs in AI transformation.
In his new strategy, Sber has a special focus on shaping his long-term vision. Technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), is a key factor that determines the world today and the future.
One of the main challenges is to put technology to serve humans. Sber's business model is centered on humans, their interests and aspirations. AI is a human personal assistant - developing the abilities of each individual and helping them take advantage of their respective potentials. This is Sber's move towards human-centricity.
Sber will take advantage of the next 3 years to prepare for the transition to human-centered organizations. This complex transformation will have an impact on three main fields, namely first, Technology, with a focus on developing the new generation of AI; second, business models in all fields; and third, it is culture.

In addition to its long-term priorities, Sber will focus special attention on the development and creation of a better consumer experience, improving performance, providing reliable and safe services and finally accelerating the implementation of AI in every business area.
The results of the discussion also resulted in financial targets from the 2026 Strategy, among others, being a result of >22% equity each year in this Strategy; total capital adequacy ratio of 20,0 >13.3%; and dividend distribution of 50% of the Sber Group's net profit.
Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Council of Sberbank said that the consumer model in which customers are viewed exclusively as a source of income will be the past. The task of this new business is to help customers become flexible and adaptive in a world that is completely unstable.
