YOGYAKARTA Ahead of the general election (election), the Kompas Research and Development Survey Institute estimates that several parties will not qualify for the DPR RI. This happened because according to a political survey conducted, parties that were included in the latest list of parties did not pass the 2024 election. according to the survey, they did not succeed in obtaining a vote of no more than 4 percent in the 2024 Legislative Election.

It should be noted that the threshold for political parties to enter parliament is regulated through Law no. 7 of 2017. The law states that the threshold for political parties to enter the Senayan is 4 percent.

The Kompas Research and Development Survey Institute itself conducted a survey on November 29 to December 4, 2023 using a multilevel systematic injection research method in 38 provinces in the country. The survey was conducted with a survey error threshold or a margin of error of +/-2.65 percent at the confidence level of 95 percent.

As a result, there are nine parties that are not expected to qualify for the DPR RI because they have not succeeded in meeting the threshold, one of which is the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). According to the survey, the party electability rate led by Kaesang Pangarep was 2.6 percent.

During the last four months PSI electability has indeed increased by 1.8 percent, unfortunately the increase has not succeeded in reaching the parliamentary threshold or parliamentary threshold.

The survey was conducted face-to-face via the Populi Center application. The selection of samples itself was carried out using the multistage random sampling method, with a margin of error of 2.83 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
