Police Check The Mentality Of Women Perpetrators Of Destruction Of 11 Cars At The Semarang KPU Office

SEMARANG - Police examined the psychology of a woman suspected of vandalizing a car in the parking lot of the Semarang City KPU office on Jalan Pemuda, Semarang City, Central Java.

"We will confirm the condition of the perpetrator first through coordination with the hospital," said Semarang Police Chief Kombes Irwan Anwar, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 11.

He said investigators would coordinate with doctors to find out the mental condition of the perpetrators.

According to him, the family also said that the perpetrator had a mental disorder as evidenced by a certificate from the hospital.

However, he said, the examination of the perpetrators by the Women and Children Protection Unit of the Semarang Polrestabes will still be carried out to determine the motive for the destruction.

Previously, 11 cars parked in the parking lot of the Semarang City KPU office at the Pandanaran building on Jalan Pemuda, Semarang, were damaged by unknown people by being charged.

Most of the cars that were known to have been damaged on Saturday (9/12) were official cars belonging to the Semarang City KPU.

While the rest are cars belonging to other agencies whose offices are in the same building as the KPU.

The police have checked the CCTV footage and identified one person suspected of being the perpetrator.
