117 Minerba Mining Companies Have Not Deposited PNBP, ESDM Threatens To Hold RKAB
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) noted that there are still 117 mineral and coal companies that have not deposited their obligations to the state.
The obligations are in the form of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP)
Acting Director General of Mineral and Coal (Dirjen Minerba) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Bambang Suswantono said his party had gathered all business actors who had not carried out their obligations.
"Yesterday we gathered business actors who have not paid their obligations to the state, yesterday there were 117 if I'm not mistaken," said Bambang when met at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Monday, December 11.
He added that the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) had given a mandate to the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal to collect 117 companies that had not fulfilled their obligations.
Bambang said the Director General of Mineral and Coal had also summoned the company in question and only 65 companies had complied with the summons of the Director General of Mineral and Coal.

Bambang also emphasized that his party would not issue a Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) for the period 2024-2026 for mining companies that had not paid off fixed payment obligations, selling mining products, and royalties by the end of this year.
"We stick to the rules, so now I'm preparing the 2024 RKAB until 2026, if we don't finish the RKAB, it doesn't come out," concluded Bambang.
