Mahfud Md Asks For Blessing Of The Governor Of West Java For The Period Of 1970-1975 Solihin GP

JAKARTA - Candidate for vice president number 3 MahfudMd visited the residence of the Governor of West Java for the period 1970-1975 Solihin Gautama Purwanegara in Bandung, Sunday, to ask for his blessing to advance in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) contestation.

It was a good consultation place to read life," Mahfud said in a written statement in Jakarta, Sunday. Mahfud visited Solihin in a series of activities for two days to meet a number of residents in Bandung.

"I learned a lot from Pak Solihin, when he became a leader until the end of his service. He is a clean and exemplary leader, especially the pride of the people of West Java," said Mahfud. Solihin GP, who is now 97 years old, is happy with Mahfud's arrival in West Java. The family of Solihin GP and representatives of the Sundanese people gave a headband that symbolizes the inner bond so that the pair Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md. can win the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). This headband also encourages hope for the life of the Indonesian nation to improve. The family of Solihin GP represented by its son, Satria Kamal said it was an honor for Mahfud Md's visit.

"He is a clean figure that this nation needs," he said. Satria who is also a Ganjar-Mahfud volunteer said the need for synergy between political parties and volunteers to move in the field. KawanJuang GP Coordinator, Benny Kurniadi said Mahfud's arrival was an encouragement for volunteers to move more massively in West Java. "By choosing Ganjar Pranowo and MahfudMD as president and vice president, Indonesia can be more advanced and free from corruption," said Benny.

On this occasion, Bandung Old Star or BOLD were also present, namely the veteran players of Persib Bandung, including Robby Darwis, Herry Kiswanto, Ignas Yulinar, Nuralim, and Khairifo. BOLD is a group of Ganjar-Mahfud volunteers who are moving through football matches to remote parts of West Java to socialize the figures of Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md to the public.
