Hit Cino Dies, Bantul Eats Victim Again: Elf Minibus Enters Abyss, One Person Dies
JAKARTA - The Bantul Resort Police, Special Region of Yogyakarta, handled the case of a single four-wheeled Elf vehicle carrying 17 passengers on the Cino Mati Line, a link between Dlingo District and Pleret Bantul, Saturday afternoon.
"Until now, we are still handling the evacuation of the single accident of an Elf four-wheeled vehicle on the Cino Dies Line from the direction of Dlingo," said Head of Public Relations of the Bantul Police, Iptu I Nengah Jeffry Prana Widnyana in a press statement in Bantul, Saturday quoted by Antara.
According to him, the vehicle that had a single accident resulted in the death of a victim, and nine people were injured.
"Nine victims were injured in medical treatment, seven people at Nurhidayah Hospital and two people at Permata Hospital," he said.

He said based on a preliminary analysis the alleged single accident was due to a failed brake.
He said the Cino Mati Line, although it is an alternative route to the Dlingo tourist area, is not safe for six-wheeled vehicles or many passengers because conditions are rising or decreasing steeply.
"People are asked to understand the terrain of the Cino Mati route, not to go through for safety," he said.
