South Kalimantan Police Arrest Women Residivis Tanam Sabu In Tanah

The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the South Kalimantan Police (Kalsel) arrested a woman Recidivist of NH (47) who kept drugs by burying methamphetamine on the land of the Tanah Laut Regency area.

"There are 61 packages of methamphetamine weighing 27.99 grams buried in the front yard of the suspect's house," said Head of Sub-Directorate 1 of the South Kalimantan Police's Narcotics Investigation Directorate AKBP Meilki Bharata in Banjarmasin as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 8.

NH, who is a dealer, is a slippery dealer and has been in and out of prison three times in narcotics cases.

In fact, Meilki said that the suspect NH had fled while officers were trying to make arrests.

Officers did not succeed in arresting NH when they raided the suspect's house which was inhabited by HS (57) on Jalan Kenanga, Kintap Village, Tanah Laut Regency on Friday (3/12).

However, the police found evidence of 61 packages of methamphetamine in the ground and another package of 0.30 grams in the house.

"So HS is an accomplice and is now also arrested as part of a network of dealers controlled by NH," said Meilki.

Three days later or Monday, the police received information on NH's whereabouts in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency while on their way to escape to East Kalimantan.

Then the police conducted a search and found 38 packages of methamphetamine weighing 14.61 grams in the rented house of suspect NH in the Citra Graha City Housing area, Banjar Regency.

Meilki said that NH was charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering (TPPU).

"We are still tracking the assets because it is suspected that many of them are from the drug business," said Meilki.
