Deputy Governor Of Kaltara Hands Over Goat Bibit Assistance

TANJUNG SELOR Deputy Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Yansen Tipa Padan handed over goat livestock assistance to residents of Gunung Putih Village, Tanjung Palas District, Bulungan Regency.

The assistance from the Bulungan Mandiri Farm (BMF) farm in Apung Village consisted of 6 goats consisting of 5 females and 1 male who were handed over to Pak Samin, a resident of Gunung Putih Village.

"The assistance of goat livestock to the residents of Gunung Putih Village is to achieve food security and independence in Kaltara," said Yansen TP, Friday, December 8.

Deputy Governor Yansen revealed that goat livestock is one of the basic needs of the Indonesian people.

In addition, the climate in Bulungan is very suitable for goat farming to become a market potential that increases the community's economy.

"Our hope and target is that the provision of livestock seeds can be used to meet the basic needs of Kaltara and can provide the needs of the seeds around us," he said.

Yansen said the giving of Chieto Karno's goat seeds had spread across several villages received by hundreds of residents who wanted to try as breeders.

"The distribution of BMF seeds to the community is an effort of a joint government partnership in an effort to build food independence in North Kalimantan Province, especially in Bulungan district," he concluded.
