TikTok Trying To Protect Users From Antisemitism And Islamophobia Content
JAKARTA TikTok mengakui bahwa mereka sedang mengalami masa sulit karena perang Israel dan Hamas. Pasalnya, konten antisemitism dan Islamophobia di platform mereka meningkat.
The hateful content that continues to emerge can harm more parties. Therefore, TikTok announced that it had formed an anti-hate task force and discrimination to crack down on content spreaders.
In addition to creating a new team, TikTok is also improving the content moderation system on its platform. They plan to launch a Peduli Comment Mode to control or filter unwanted comments by users.
If the Comment Care Mode feature is enabled, the TikTok algorithm will study various comments that have been deleted or reported by users. This feature will keep similar comments from reappearing.
TikTok has tested this filter on content creators. From the data they have, a number of content creators who use this filter have experienced a decline in comments that are detrimental and similar to those that have been reported. The number decreased by 30 percent.
