BPBD: 14 Houses In Pamijahan Bogor Damaged Due To Earthquake

BOGOR - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bogor Regency, West Java, recorded as many as 14 houses in Purwabakti Village, Pamijahan, Bogor, were damaged by earthquake shocks.

Emergency and Logistics Staff of the Bogor Regency BPBD, Jalaludin, revealed that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 occurred on Friday (8/12) at 02.00 WIB in the morning.

He explained that four villages in Purwabakti Village were affected by the earthquake, namely Cigarehong, Padajaya, Padajembar, and Kampung Cimapag.

However, the incidents of 14 damaged houses only occurred in two villages, namely Cigarehong Village as many as 7 housing units inhabited by 7 families/21 people, and Kampung Padajaya 7 housing units inhabited by 7KK/31 people.

"A total of 14 housing units (rustrated), 14 families/52 people are inhabited," said Jalal as quoted by ANTARA.

Gempa bumi ini juga berdampak pada sejumlah fasilitas umum seperti Musala Al Istikomah di Kampung Cigarehong, dan Musala Al Falah di Kampung Padajaya.

Although no casualties were found, the earthquake which resulted in cracks and the walls of the house collapsed had the potential to cause land shifts to landslides.

Jalal said that until now the Bogor Regency BPBD team was still conducting rapid assessments at locations affected by the earthquake. The location point affected is far away.
