Village Head In Halteeng Tried For Corruption In Village Funds Of IDR 733 Million

TERNATE - A village head (Kades) in Central Halmahera Regency (Halteng), North Maluku (Malut) named Disposal alias BS (47 years old) was charged with committing a criminal act of corruption in village funds with state financial losses reaching Rp733,054,620.

The Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Central Halmahera Kejari, Sandi Ela Saturday said, Throw away, the former Village Head (Kades) Masure, committed a criminal act of corruption (Tipikor) DD in 2019.

Based on the report on the results of the audit of state losses by the Halteng Inspector Number: 700/02-LHP/ITKAB-HT/VII/2022 dated July 4, 2022 for the alleged corruption case in Masure Village for the 2019 fiscal year and from the results of the audit, it was found that there was a state loss of Rp. 733,054,620".

The village head with the initials BS alias Throw (47 years) is a resident of Masure Village, East Patani District, Central Halmahera Regency and was charged with alleged corruption in 2019 village funds.

The panel of judges at the Ternate District Court (PN), led by Budi Setiawan accompanied by Kadar Nooh and Samhadin, closed and continued the trial on Thursday, December 14.

The Attorney General's Office of Halteng, Sandi Ela, said Saturday that in this case his party would also conduct an examination of a number of officials in the local village and BPMD.
