IQOO 12 With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset Officially Launched In Indonesia

JAKARTA Celebrate his first birthday in Indonesia, IQOO introduces the successor to their first series of movements, namely IQOO 12. This launch was held on Thursday, December 7.

Still using the "Monster Inside" theme, IQOO 12 is a collaboration product with BMW M Motorsport, a German automotive company. Therefore, IQOO added the BMW logo on the back cover section to one of its variants.

This phone brings a new chipset from Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This is the first time this chipset has entered Indonesia so that Qualcomm is present at the launch this time.

Senior Manager of Business Development Qualcomm Indonesia, Dominikus Susanto, said that Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is one of the most awaited processors. The reason is, this chipset will bring high performance.

"Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will provide a more convenient experience to its users, both for photography, for gaming, fortte-tasking, and supported by better connectivity," Dominikus said at the launch of IQOO 12.

IQOO 12 is claimed to come with the best technology. IQOO Indonesia's Head and Product, Raditya Putra, said that IQOO 12 uses a 5,000mAh battery with the support of the Pro-Performance Graphine Battery.

This battery has a Negative Electrode Graphite Reconstruction Technology feature, a feature that is indispensable to support fast charging capabilities. IQOO also promises a 120W flashcharge capability in just 27 minutes.

In addition to its charging capability, IQOO 12 presents the Zero Percent Instant Startup technology which makes the phone turn on quickly. Raditya said that IQOO 12 is capable of displaying the logo in just 3 seconds.

Meanwhile, for the screen display, IQOO 12 is presented with a size of 6.78 inches and a refresh rate of 144Hz. This phone uses an LTP AMOLED Display screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 and Wet Touch Technology to keep the screen working well when the hands are wet.

IQOO 12 also supports the ability to play games with the Q1 Supercomputing Chip. This technology makes IQOO 12 come with a super resolution game, super frame rate of up to 144 FPS, and low latency control of 35.42 milliseconds.

The last component that cannot be ignored is the ability of the camera. IQOO 12 comes with Legendary Triple Camera System 64MP with 3xoptic zoom, 10xzoom, and 100x digital zoom. IQOO 12 also has Astropgraphy Camera 50MP and Ultra-Wide Angle 50MP.

This phone will come with two variants, namely Legend with a white displayymple with a BMW back cover logo and Alpha with an elegant black look.

There are several phones that also carry Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets such as Xiaomi 14series and OnePlus 12. The RAM from Xiaomi 14series is more varied than IQOO 12, from 8GB to 16GB. However, the charging only reaches 90W.

Meanwhile, OnePlus 12 comes with a higher RAM, which is 12GB to 24GB. The storage is also more diverse from 256GB to 1TB. However, the charging capability is still lagging behind IQOO 12 with 100W.
