Firli Bahuri Asked 29 Questions, Including The Issue Of The Results Of The Apartment Search

The head of the inactive Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firli Bahuri, was questioned 29 questions during the second examination process as a suspect in the alleged extortion case against the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, today.

Some of them are about the results of a search at the Darmawangsa Essence Apartment unit, South Jakarta.

"The suspect was questioned as many as 29 questions," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement, Wednesday, December 6.

The search was carried out on December 5. Based on information, Firli Bahuri's apartment unit which was searched was in the East Tower on the 25th floor. However, there was no detail of objects or evidence obtained from the location.

It was only conveyed that the ownership of the apartment unit was not recorded in the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).

"Then confirm as well as deepen the findings of investigations into other assets (outside the LHKPN FB)," he said.

"Confirmation of the search results carried out by investigators on other assets in the form of apartments," continued Trunoyudo.

Not only that, investigators are also investigating the matter of foreign exchange transactions worth Rp7.4 billion which were found at the investigation stage. The document also became one of the evidences in determining the suspect against Firli Bahuri.

"Development of foreign exchange transactions," said Trunoyudo.

Meanwhile, Firli Bahiri has never been detained in the alleged extortion case against the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo. Although, he has been questioned twice as a suspect.

Firli is still allowed to go home so far. Including, when he finished undergoing the examination today which lasted approximately 10 hours, starting from 10.00 WIB to 20.00 WIB.

After the examination, the retired National Police showed a different attitude than before. He refused to appear to the public and chose to avoid the media crew.

Firli Bahuri left the Bareskrim Polri building not through lanes in general. He uses General Secretariat (Setum) access.

In fact, during the previous examination process, Firli dared to appear and conveyed several things in front of the media crew.

Firli Bahuri's attitude that does not want to appear to the public is not the first time this has happened. Before being named a suspect, the inactive KPK chairman was always a cat and mouse with the media crew.
