US Presidential Candidates Will Discuss Cryptocurrencies At Stand With Crypto Events

JAKARTA - The "Stand With Crypto" campaign introduced by crypto exchange Coinbase last year, will hold its first presidential forum to discuss issues related to digital assets and blockchain. The Forum will be attended by several US presidential candidates for the 2024 election.

The forum will be held in New Hampshire on Monday, December 11. The event is free and open to the public. Some of the figures scheduled to attend this forum include Asa Hutchinson, the 46th governor of Arkansas from the Republican Party, Vivek Ramaswamy and Dean Phillips from the Democratic Party.

In addition, former US President Donald Trump, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Doug Burgum who recently withdrew from the 2024 presidential election have also been invited. Invitations were also extended to other figures, including Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and Chris Christie.

The Stand With Crypto Forum is designed to provide a platform for candidates to speak directly to the crypto community and blockchain on various policies ahead of the New Hampshire Primary Election.

"Stand With Crypto" is one of many digital asset advocacy groups that support clear and wise regulations for the crypto industry. The group was launched in March 2022 following a crackdown by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulators against the crypto industry.

At the time of launch, Coinbase said that the crypto industry has reached a critical point where decisions taken by policymakers and financial regulators in America could affect how communities can interact with industry in the future.

That way, this event is expected to help the digital asset community in the New Hemisphere determine support and votes for every presidential candidate ahead of the primary election in January before the main election in November.
