After Indonesia Mazda2 Facelift Is Present In Malaysia, But There Is A Difference
JAKARTA - After being presented to the Indonesian market, the facelift version of Mazda2 greets the Malaysian public. If in Indonesia only brings updates to the hatchback, in the neighboring country the update includes hatchback and sedan versions.
Reporting from paultan, Tuesday, December 5, Mazda2 received changes starting from the latest Grill with a black honeycomb pattern with aggressive red accents. To leave the impression of sporty, a shrinking intake was also presented at the bottom.
Red knife is also applied to rear bumpers that are redesigned, placed indiscriminately above the chrom exhaust layer. Mazda2 also gets a new design on 16-inch rims that come in two-tone black and chrome.
Other revisions include rain-sensing wipers and automatic folding rearview mirrors. The rest, the Japanese manufacturer still maintains the design of the LED lights as a standard with a function of life/death automatically.
Towards the interior, the dashboard design remains the same as before. The manufacturer presents the latest features, namely auto-dimming mirrors and crude control which are standard. The interior is coated with a combination of black imitation leather seat and a suede seat with a contrasting red seam.
Equipment that is still the standard of this model is an infotainment system that uses a touch screen 7 inches smaller, not 8 inches wider. This car is equipped with several other features such as keyless entry and start, four rear parking sensors, one zone automatic air conditioner, six speakers, and a backward camera.
Not to forget, Mazda2 is also presented with a series of passive safety, such as ABS, EBD, brake assist, DSC, traction control, all seat seat seat belts reminders, and emergency stop signals.
Despite having other changes, the company headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan, maintains a 1.5 liter naturally-asspired 4-cylinder Skyactiv-G engine that pumps up to 114 dk of power and 149 Nm of torque. This runway is coupled to an automatic transmission system of six accelerations with manual mode and a middle shift.

Facelift from Mazda2 is an import from Thailand. In Malaysia, both the sedan version and the hatchback are priced at 108,670 ringgit or equivalent to Rp360.4 million. This price is slightly cheaper when compared to the New Mazda2 Hatchback which is sold in Indonesia for Rp367.7 million OTR Jakarta, but more expensive than the Sedan variant worth Rp348.8 million.
