The Aide Who Accompanied Firli When Examined By Dewas Was Confirmed Not From The KPK
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confirmed that the escort who accompanied the inactive KPK chairman Firli Bahuri when he visited the ACLC KPK building did not come from his institution.
It is known that Firli underwent an examination by the KPK Supervisory Board regarding the alleged ethical violation of the meeting between him and former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo today. At that time, Firli was escorted by a well-built person.
"What is certain is this, information from the general bureau as of November 30 yesterday there was no special escort including from the TNI," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, December 5.
"There is no escort at all from the KPK, ed)," he continued.
Even so, Ali assessed that Firli could have asked for escort from other parties apart from the facilities provided by the anti-corruption commission.
"Maybe it can be asked, it could be that everyone is escorted," he said.
As previously reported, Firli was questioned by the KPK Supervisory Board regarding his meeting with Syahrul. He did not provide any information after leaving the ACLC KPK building at around 11.50 WIB.
From field observations, Firli chose to hurry down from the lobby stairs of the ACLC KPK Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta despite being surrounded by journalists. He occasionally smiled and rushed to the black-streamed Toyota Camry car that was waiting for him.
"Thank you, yes," said Firli when he was about to get into the car.
"Sir, he said he wanted to provide information," said the reporter who was waiting at the ACLC KPK building.
Even so, there was no statement from the suspect in the alleged extortion of the former Minister of Agriculture SYL. He chose to get into the car right away.
