Involved In Corruption, Former Head Of Bengkulu City Health Center Sued 4 Years In Prison
BENGKULU - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Bengkulu High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has demanded the former Head of the Bengkulu City Health Center, namely RA, for four years in prison and a fine of Rp. 200 million related to corruption cases. The defendant RA was charged for being involved in the alleged corruption of cutting Health Operational Assistance (BOK) in 2022. "Declare that the defendant has proven to be legally benefiting himself or others, forcing people to accept payments," said Bengkulu Attorney General's Office Dewi Kemalasari when reading the demands at the Bengkulu District Court (PN), Tuesday, December 5.
He said the defendant was found guilty of violating Article 12 junto article 18 paragraph 1 letter B paragraph 2 paragraph 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes. Previously, Investigators of the Sub-Directorate for Corruption Crime (Tipikor) of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) Bengkulu Police named one of the Heads of Health Centers in Bengkulu City, namely RA related to the alleged corruption case. The determination of the suspect was carried out related to the alleged corruption case of cutting and collecting official travel costs derived from the non-physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK) budget in the health sector through BOK in 2022.
