Yamaha Boyong Motorcycle Various Awards At The Ajang In GOA 2023

JAKARTA - Yamaha won various awards for both the automatic and sport categories, at the annual event titled the 2023 GridOto Award which took place virtually.

This achievement is something that deserves appreciation, considering that one of the awards obtained by Yamaha is the most prestigious Award at the event, namely the 2023 Motorcycle of The Year (MOTY) which was named for motorcycles in the CLASSY Yamaha ranks, namely Grand Filano Hybrid Connected. Interestingly, in 2022 the Fazzio Hybrid Connected also won the title in the same event.

"We would like to thank all the awards that have been given to Yamaha products, especially the recognition of Filano Hybrid Connected as the Motorcycle of The Year 2023. Moreover, previously the Fazzio Hybrid Connected also successfully won the same title in 2022. That means, the CLASSY Yamaha ranks have been recognized as the best motorbikes by the Indonesian people," said Antonius Widiantoro, Asst. General Manager Marketing, Public Relations of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg, in an official statement received, Monday, December 4.

He further said that this award is inseparable from the advantages of products that are able to offer new values to consumers, both in terms of stylish and more classy design.

"Hybrid 125cc Bluecore engine technology is powerful and efficient, as well as Y-Connect connectivity features that can support driving experiences that are more enjoyable for their users," he added.

After going through a series of assessments and vehicle tests by the jury team, as many as 5 awards were won by Yamaha motorbikes. In the Matic motorcycle category, Philano Hybrid Connected, which has not even been launched a year, immediately won 2 awards at once, namely as the Motorcycle of The Year 2023 and also Best Retro Automatic Scooter 110-125cc.

Apart from Grand Filano, the new motorbike in the MAXI Yamaha lattice, namely XMAX Connected, also won the award as Best Automatic Scooter in the 250-300cc class.

Turning to the Sport model category, as many as two iconic Yamaha products managed to get Awards as the best in their respective classes. Both products are R15M Connected ABS as Best Sport Full Fairing 150 - 155cc, and also WR 155 R who earned the title as Best Sport Dual Purpose 150 155cc.
