Invited By Kopassus Troops, Doni Monardo's Body Arrives At TMP Kalibata
The body of former Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Doni Monardo arrived at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP), South Jakarta, Monday, December 4.
Antara at the location on Monday, noted that the bodies arrived at 10.58 WIB accompanied by ranks from the Kopassus Troops and the late family.
Doni passed away on Sunday, December 3, at 17.35 WIB. The funeral was carried out militarily led by the TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto.
The coffin was covered in red and white flags and guarded by Kopassus members. A number of TNI officers and government officials attended the Doni Monardo funeral ceremony.
Met at the location, Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini recalled the former Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Doni Monardo as a person who has high work dedication.
"Mr. Doni is very low profile, he doesn't want to stand out, his dedication and proof of work can be felt," said Risma.
Previously, Doni Monardo reportedly fell ill and underwent an intensive treatment process at the hospital since September 22, 2023.
