Kevin Durant Is In The Top 10 With The Most Points Printers In The NBA
JAKARTA - Kevin Durant, the Pohelix Suns player is in the top 10 most points scorers in NBA history.
He posted 27,423 points against Denver Nugets which ended in his team's 111-119 defeat at the Arizona Footprint Center on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Durant is now among the former NBA top basketball players he often watched on television and videos.
KD, as he is known, moved up to 10th in the list of NBA's top points scorers in the second quarter of the Suns vs Nuggets match.
He has already passed Moses Malone's collection (27,409), which was a Spurs and 76ers star in the 1990s.
"It's a long journey to get there, to be mentioned with the great players. It takes a lot of hard work, a lot of preparation, a lot of people helping me get to this point," Durant said on the NBA's official website.

Before the game against Nuggets, Durant needed 17 points to get past Malone's record. Sure enough, he could reach his target with 50.3 seconds remaining before halftime. His two-point shot made the accumulation of points to 27,410.
"As a basketball player, I think our job is to look back at game history and who paved the way for us," Durant said.
Durant finished the game against Nuggets with 30 points. At the end of the match, the total accumulation throughout his career in the NBA was 27,423.
Kevin Durant has entered the All-Star 13 times and won the NBA twice. He played for SuperSonics/Thunder, Warriors, Nets, and Suns. He played one season at a college in Texas before being ranked second overall in the draft of the 2007 NBA when he was 19 years old.
The 35-year-old has been in the NBA for 17 seasons. He was absent for a full year due to acadelles injuries.
Meanwhile, LeBron James tops the list of the most pointscorers with 39,124 points and is the only other active player in the top 25.
