Ganjar Ready To Face Debate: My Partner Is Mr. Mahfud, God Willing, It Will Not Be Difficult Because They Are Both Doing Anti-Corruption Movements

Presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo stated that he was ready to face the presidential and vice presidential candidates debate, especially those related to the theme of law, human rights to eradicating corruption.

"(Ready) I've had a debate," said Ganjar at La Cove, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 1.

Ganjar said he and vice presidential candidate Mahfud Md are very confident in the debate over presidential and vice presidential candidates because Mahfud is a person who is very familiar with legal issues, human rights and eradicating corruption.

"My image is Mr. Mahfud. God willing, it will not be too difficult because we both carry out anti-corruption movements," he said.

The first debate was held at the KPU office on December 12, 2023, the theme is related to law, human rights (HAM), government, eradication of corruption, and strengthening democracy.

Then in the second debate which is scheduled to take place on December 22, 2023, it carries the theme defense, security, geopolitical, and international relations.

The theme of the third debate on January 7, 2024 is economic (congestion and digital), social welfare, investment, trade, taxes (digital), finance, and management of the state budget.

Furthermore, the theme of the fourth debate on January 21, 2024 includes energy, natural resources (SDA), SMN, carbon taxes, the environment and agrarianism, as well as indigenous peoples.

Finally, on February 4, 2024, the theme of the debate is information technology, improving public services, hoaxes, intolerance, education, health (post-COVID Society), and employment.

The theme of the debate refers to the national vision listed in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN).

Each presidential and vice presidential debate will consist of six segments, ranging from the opening, reading of rules, conveying vision, mission, and work programs, to the closing segment.
