Syed Modi India 2023: Dejan/Gloria Advance To Semifinals
JAKARTA Mixed doubles Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja get tickets for the semifinals of Syed Modi India International 2023.
The pair qualified after defeating Singapore's representative, Terry Hee Yong Kai/Jessica Tan Wei Han, two straight games 21-14 and 21-15 on Friday, December 1, 2023 evening WIB.
At the beginning of the first game, Dejan/Gloria got the points first. The opponent then got the opportunity to equalize the score three times.
However, Dejan/Gloria got up and were not overtaken anymore. They then led the opponent by a three-point difference at the time of the interval.
After that, the opponent caught up and cut the score to 13-14. Dejan/Gloria then responded with six consecutive points to reach the game point.

The match will be the second meeting between the two pairs after the Denmark Open 2023 which was won by Dejan/Gloria.
