Trial Of Alleged Fictitious Voters At DPT South Jakarta, Witness Calls His Identity A Dutch Citizen But Has No Evidence
JAKARTA - The trial of alleged fictitious voters in the Permanent Voter List (DPT) in South Gandaria Village, South Jakarta, was again held by the Bawaslu of DKI Jakarta Province. This time the agenda of the trial listened to the answers from the reported party and the statements of three witnesses from the reporter.
During the trial, one of the witnesses named Hariandi Adenan admitted that he did not know Tan Eng Ho (TEH) and Tan Eng Shiong (TES).
However, Hariandi said he had dealt with the law with the two of them in 2016. Even so, he never met in person because TEH and TES were always represented by attorneys. "According to information, they have moved to the Netherlands and completed their education up to doctoral degrees and worked there," said Hariandi in a trial that took place at the DKI Jakarta Bawaslu Office, Friday, December 1, confiscated by Antara.
He also believes that Tan Eng Ho and Tan Eng Shiong are Dutch citizens.
"They moved since 1963," said Hariandi.
The reported party, namely the South Jakarta KPU (Jaksel) represented by the Coordinator of the Legal and Supervision Division Ali Akbar also asked for evidence related to the two names, which are currently Dutch citizens. Hariandi then answered that he did not have the data. "So only the reasons for not attending (to previous trials), do you suspect that TEH and TEST are not Indonesian citizens?" asked Ali. "Yes," replied Hariadi while nodding. The other two witnesses, namely Yanpytua and Mahfud, who are advocates, also doubted the identity of the TEH and TEST. When handling the cases involving the brothers, they admitted that they could not find TEH and TEST identities, but the names of both were registered with the DPT.

On Thursday, November 23, the Movement of All Indonesian Advocates (Persadi) DKI Jakarta reported the South Jakarta KPU after finding two names suspected of being fictitious registered with the DPT in South Gandaria Village.
The spokesman for the reporter, Iskandar Halim, said that initially his party was handling land dispute cases and had to deal with TEH and TES who claimed to be heirs. "However, when tracing from the RT, RW, Kelurahan, Population and Civil Registration Service (Dukcapil) as well as the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the identities of the brothers cannot be found, while the name is registered in the DPT in Gandaria Selatan Village, South Jakarta. "The two names were not registered in a letter issued by the Cilandak District dated November 10, 2023 and a letter issued by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the DKI Jakarta Regional Office dated November 3, 2023," said Iskandar Halim in the inaugural trial, Wednesday, November 29. The trial for this case is scheduled to be held again Monday, December 4. Persadi asked the assembly to bring TEH and TES to trial.
