JAKARTA - The latest Land Cruiser 70 Series from Toyota officially launched, ending 9 years without an update. In a short time after launch, the Modellista, a specialist in car modifications Toyota and Lexus, introduced an optional kit for this formidable SUV with an elegant touch.
Modellista, Toyota and Lexus' leading tuning company, presented an exclusive modification kit for the Land Cruiser 70 Series by adopting components from Japan's runner, Jaos, known in the off-road world.
According to carscoops, Wednesday, November 29, these modifications include a strengthening of the front bumper with vertical LED lights and additional protective panels. Customers can also add aluminum slip plates at both ends, while fog lights are given a yellow color to highlight their character.
This SUV is equipped with the latest 18-inch aluminum rim with a five-barrel design covered in bronze, equipped with the tires of all the sturdy Geolandar Yokohama terrain.
In addition, Modellista provides roof racks and baggage reservoirs from Jaos to increase cargo capacity. The rubber boot closure is also included to maintain interior cleanliness when doing outdoor activities.
For a retro touch, the Modellista adds fibered fiber insertions to the cabin, increasing the LED interior lights, colored windows, number plate bolts, and other features.
Land Cruiser 70 Series owners can choose from the Toyota Genuine Accessories catalog which includes red and yellow vintage stickers, spare wheel covers with a silhouette design, as well as window protectors.
This accessory has varying prices, such as a set of rims for 440,000 yen (around Rp46.2 million), a roof rack worth 220,000 yen (around Rp23 million), a selip plate for 181,500 yen (around Rp19 million), a wood fiber insertion worth 66,000 yen (around Rp6.9 million), and a sticker for 63,800 yen (around Rp6.6 million).
Toyota only offers a single variant of the Land Cruiser 70 Series, namely AX, at a price of 4.8 million yen (a range of IDR 505.5 million). The production of this car will be carried out at Yoshiwara Plant, Japan, with an assembly capacity of 400 units per month.
