Mal U-17 Striker Is More Motivated After Receiving Support From Supporters In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Salif Noah Leintu, The U-17 Mali striker was very impressed with the support provided by the Indonesian people during their match at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The support brought him a fun match atmosphere. He was actually surprised to see the support for the Mali U-17.

Salif did not expect many to want Les Aigles to step into the top party against France U-17 in the last semifinal.

"I was actually quite surprised. In the middle of the match, I heard the audience shouting support for our country, 'Mali, Mali, Mali'. This really surprised me," said Noah Leintu.

Salif further said that the support born for Mali U-17 could not be separated from the team's impressive appearance. In other words, supporters also agreed that Les Aigles deserved to go to the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 final because he appeared attractive.

"I think the support given by Indonesian audiences is inseparable from our attractive soccer game. So, they like it and support us because of that style of play," said the player from the United States club, Bethesda Olney.

However, Mali U-17 has failed to make it to the top party. The only hope now is the third place against Argentina U-17.

Seeing the massive support of supporters in Indonesia, Salif was motivated to beat the Tango Team. He wants to bring Mali U-17 to the best results as the only African team left.

He was not even afraid when Albiceleste was superior to his team.

"So, now we think this match is like a final. All players have started to shift their concentration to face this match. That's our main focus now," he said.

Salif hopes that support for the U-17 Mali will come again to spark the team's enthusiasm. The match between Les Aigles and Argentina U-17 will take place at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Friday, December 1, 2023, at 19.00 WIB.
