Triumph Motorcycles Officially Enters Motocross World With TF 250-X
JAKARTA - At the end of 2022, Triumph Motorcycles announced that they will participate in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross championship series in 2024. However, the motorbikes that will be prepared for this championship are still a mystery.
On Wednesday, November 29, Triumph finally officially released the details of their new motocross bike, TF 250-X.
From the specifications on the company's website, it is known that TF 250-X carries a 249.95cc engine with an aluminum frame and KYB suspension. TF 250-X is also equipped with a front and rear Brembo brake package, a Pro Taper handle, and an ODI handle as a standard option.
The wet-weighted motor, which is only 104 kg, was developed with racing champion Ricky totaling and Iv totaling Cervantes, TF 250-X has a new design from scratch. With an aggressive style, TF 250-X offers a minimalist display with a typical Triumph Racing, Yellow and Black graphics scheme.
The new performance racing powertrain of Triumph makes TF 250-X compact and super lightweight, with a piston of aluminium tempa and a titanium valve. The machine is coated with low friction of diamond-like carbon, light magnesium cover, and Exedy Belleville coupling.
Meanwhile, state-of-the-art engine management is equipped with an optional MX Tune Pro app, enabling real-time user mapping and real-time engine sensor dashboards.
With a light and strong backbone frame, TF 250-X sets a new standard for the best 'power-to-weight' ratio in its class. Suspension of KYB, premium Brembo braking system, and high-end components make TF 250-X superior in specifications and worth wary of rivals in the competitive 250cc motocross class.
