List of 40 Athletes Qualifying for BWF World Tour Finals 2023: Indonesia Without Mixed Doubles

JAKARTA – The International Badminton Federation (BWF) has officially released the list of 40 representatives who have qualified for the 2023 BWF World Tour Finals (WTF).

The names who are ready to appear at Hangzhou Olympic Sport, China, on December 13-17, 2023 were announced via uploads on BWF Instagram.

Each sector has eight representatives so that a total of 40 representatives are ready to act. Indonesia has six representatives who will compete there, except mixed doubles.

The Indonesian women's singles sector is only represented by Gregoria Mariska Tunjung. Meanwhile, the other seven names are An Se-young, Chen Yufei, Akane Yamaguchi, Tai Tzu Ying, Carolina Marin, Han Yue, and Beiwen Zhang.

The Indonesian men's singles number belongs to Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. Both of them will compete with Kodai Naraoka, Viktor Axelsen, Le Shi Feng, Anders Antonsen, Kunlavut Vitidsarn, and Shi Yu Qi.

Furthermore, the mixed doubles who received tickets to WTF 2023 are Feng Yan Zhe/Huang Dong Ping, Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong, Seo Seung Jae/Chae Yu Jung, Yuta Watanabe/Arisa Higashino, Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Sapsiree Taerattanachai, Kim Won Ho /Jeong Na Eun, Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet, and Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian women's doubles sector will be represented by the pair Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

In this number, the other seven pairs who qualified were Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan, Baek Ha Na/Lee So Hee, Mayu Matsumoto/Wakana Nagahara, Nami Matsuyama/Chiharu Shida, Liu Sheng Shu/Tan Ning, Kim So Yeong/Kong Hee Yong, and Jongkolphan Kititharakul/Rawinda Prajongjai.

Finally, Indonesian men's doubles has two pairs, namely Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian men's doubles challengers are Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang, Kang Min Hyuk/Seo Seung Jae, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik, Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi, Liu Yu Chen/Ou Xuan Yi, and Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen.
