Drive Looks Rocky Through New Single Titled One 7's

JAKARTA - Drive released the latest single entitled One 7's. The fourth release in 2023 is also the material that will be presented on the upcoming album.

One 7 was created by Bhusdeq (guitar). This song was worked on in the early semester of 2023, when Axl Ramanda (vocals) was already active as Drive's new vocalist.

The lyrics of this song contain what Drive personnel were facing. At that time, they felt more solid as a band. They also further strengthen their goals with new formations.

"Although many have begun to recognize the latest Drive formation, it turns out that there are still many people who insult and blaspheme us on social media," Bhusdeq said in his statement, Tuesday, November 28.

"This song is an answer for those who doubt Drive's work in the music industry, as well as a sign that Drive has started taking off to achieve success again," he continued.

Through the One 7's, Drive returned with the rock arrangement they carried since their debut in the Indonesian music industry. This song invites listeners to always believe in themselves and not give up on the situation even though many people underestimate it.

What Axl Ramanda stated in this song is in accordance with what Drive wants to convey to the listeners.

During the one-month cultivation process, the personnel admitted to undergoing a comfortable and fun music process.

Rudy (drum) said that he enjoyed the process of cultivating this latest single.

"If the recording process, I think I'm the most relaxed in this song, I think. Because personally I as a drummer, I really like beating like this song. Yes, normally drummers, like beat-beats that are a bit rocky. In this song I also use a bit of a double pedal. So it's not only on stage that I usually use double pedals, but for this song I also use it when recording," said Rudy.

Through one 7's, Axl Ramanda expressed his hope that Drive with its current formation will continue to grow and be more solid.

"Just pray that we will always grow and develop for the future. Drive with the formation that is now always lasting and continues to progress with his works. We are committed to always having a common goal, which is to provide our best works that Indonesian music lovers can enjoy forever," said Axl Ramanda.
