Denpasar Satpol PP Office Attacked After Netting Dozens Of Prostitutes In Lake Tempe, 4 People Arrested

DENPASAR - Police are still investigating the attack on the Denpasar Satpol PP office, Bali, after securing dozens of prostitutes during a localization raid. Six Satpol PP members were injured as a result of an attack by a group of people.

The Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, said the team was still pursuing the perpetrators of the attack on the Denpasar Satpol PP office.

The six injured members of the Satpol PP were IKGA, IGATY, IMW, AAMW, INB and IWW.

Initially, the Satpol PP raided the localization of prostitution in Lake Tempe, Sanur Kauh, South Denpasar. 33 women were arrested and taken to the Denpasar Satpol PP office for data collection as well as guidance.

Suddenly in the early hours of Sunday, November 26, a man shouted at the gates of the Denpasar Satpol PP office. The man took out a gun and pointed it at it.

After that a group of people carried out the attack. Members of the PP Satpool were persecuted.

"In addition to molesting members of the Satpol PP, several others also damaged official cars, threw various hard objects and knocked down motorbikes belonging to members of the Satpol PP and their actions lasted about 30 minutes," he added.

"After carrying out the persecution and vandalism, the group of unknown people then left the Satpol PP office and along with that, the prostitutes who had previously been arrested were also gone and left the Satpol PP office," he said.

As a result of the attack, 2 operational cars were damaged, including one motorbike.

"The development of the case has been secured by four people at the Polresta for information," he said.
