Inspired By The Confession Of Pontianak Youths, Ganjar Wants To Create Creative Hubs Throughout Indonesia

PONTIANAK - The atmosphere of the Asian coffee cafe Pontianak was suddenly crowded, Sunday (26/11). Hundreds of young people flocked from a number of areas to the legendary coffee cafe.

It's none other than and not because they want to meet Ganjar Pranowo. Well, the 2024 presidential candidate took the time to hang out with Pontianak young people during his visit to Equatorial Earth. The opportunity was not wasted by the younger generation there to meet directly and chat with Zinedine Alam Ganjar's father.

As children meet their fathers, they immediately vent about the many problems experienced by young people when they meet Ganjar. Rey, 25, for example, vented about the absence of a place for him and his friends to work.

"Wow, we are very happy to see you here. We hope that Mr. Ganjar will remain president like this. I want to listen to the voices of young people. I am very popular with you and I hope you will pay more attention to the needs of young people," said Rey.

Rey says he has talent in dance. But all this time, he had trouble just looking for a place to practice. There is no place like a dance studio in Pontianak that can be used to hone their talents and interests.

"I'm a dancer, sir, I've often performed abroad and won first place. Touching the name of the nation. But unfortunately, sir, it's difficult to practice. Usually I practice by the side of the road, but often the lights are turned off and the Satpol PP is kicked out," complained Rey.

To convince Ganjar, Rey also shows his skills. Together with his friends, he dances modern dances like K-POP dancers and makes Ganjar smile proudly.

"Help us, sir. Make us a training ground, sir," asked Rey.

There were also several other problems that were conveyed by other young people to Ganjar. Mental health issues, education, and the creative industry became the subject of discussion on that occasion.

"Yes, today I am very happy, to be able to meet great young people who are full of talents in Pontianak. They are active, creative and have very high dreams. If you look at this, I am optimistic that the ideals of Indonesia Gold 2045 will really be realized," said Ganjar.

However, the government, Ganjar continued, needed to be involved. There are still many things that must be fulfilled so that all the potential of young people in Indonesia can emerge. Like the complaints of young people, that the state must be present and facilitate.

"Earlier there were those who said, sir, we need training places, we need attention. That's why I emphasize, it is important to increase the creative hub in all regions in Indonesia to accommodate our young people working. In addition, there were also mental health problems that the government had to attend in their midst by providing as many consultation rooms as possible," he concluded.
