PUPR: Since October 2023, 13 Toll Road Sections Have Been Operational
JAKARTA – A total of 13 toll road sections will operate until October 2023. This was conveyed by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Toll Road Regulatory Agency or BPJT.
"As of January to October 2023, 13 toll road sections are operating with a total length of 189.11 km," said Head of BPJT Miftachul Munir, quoting Antara, Sunday, November 26.
He said that the operation of the toll road section starts from the Semarang-Demak Toll Road Section 2 Sayung-Demak along 16.01 km, followed by the Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu Toll Road Section 2A Jakasampurna-Marga Jaya along 4.88 km, and the Cinere- Jagorawi Section 3A Kukusan-Krukut is 3.5 km long.
Furthermore, the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road Sections 5 and 6 Blang Bintang–Kuto Baro are 12.71 km long, the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road Section 4 Taruma Jaya-Cilincing is 7.285 km long, and the Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road Section 2A Jatikarya-Cikeas is 7.285 km long. 3.78 km.
Then the Pasuruan-Probolinggo Toll Road Section 4A East Probolinggo-Gending is 9.08 km long, the Simpang Indralaya-Prabumulih Toll Road is 63.5 km long, and the Cisumdawu Toll Road Section 4-6 Cimalaka-Dawuan is 29.165 km long.
Continuing with the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road Section 2 Cigombong-Cibadak for 11.05 km, the Binjai-Langsa Toll Road with the Stabat-Kuala Bingai Section for 7.55 km.

Then, the Indrapura-Limapuluh Toll Road is 15.15 km long, the Tebing Tinggi-Indrapura Toll Road is 22.85 km long, and the Indrapura-Indrapura Interchange is 5.45 km long.
The development of toll road infrastructure continues to be carried out by the government through the PUPR Ministry as a policy to provide barrier-free connectivity between regions for the community to experience the benefits, both reducing driving travel time, opening many new sections, and improving the economy.
From 1978 to October 2023, toll roads in Indonesia have been operating along 2,816.7 km on Java Island, Sumatra Island, Kalimantan Island, Sulawesi Island and Bali Island.
The toll road operations are managed by 52 toll road business entities (BUJT) with 73 toll road sections and 132 rest and service areas (TIP).
