MUI Reminds Muslims To Avoid Transactions To Use Israeli Affiliated Products
JAKARTA - The Fatwa Commission of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) has released the Latest Fatwa Number 83 of 2023 concerning the law of support for the Palestinian struggle. This fatwa recommends that Muslims avoid using products affiliated with Israel.
"Muslims are encouraged to avoid transactions and use of products affiliated with Israel and those that support colonialism and zionism," said MUI Fatwa Chairman, Asrorun Niam Sholeh, in a written statement received, Friday, November 24.
He appealed to Muslims to avoid transactions and use of products affiliated with Israel as much as possible and to support colonialism and zionism.
According to reports from pro-Palestinian groups, there are hundreds of products suspected of being affiliated with Israel.
These products include various brands, ranging from food and beverages, to technology and fashion products.

One of the residents of social media activists who is also a travel influence, Alfiah Nurul Hikmawaty, admitted that he was disappointed with the company based on operations in Bangkok, Singapore, and the Philippines.
This is because the platform is suspected of being affiliated with Israel, it is even known that its top brass graduated from Israel and received scholarships from the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
"I have been using it for my activities. But lately I am disappointed because I found the facts on social media that the top brass graduated from the University in Israel guys and they received student duties from the Minister of Defense there," he wrote as quoted from the Alfiah Nurul Instagram page.
