Brazil U-17 Not Affected By Senior National Team Results
JAKARTA - The competition-laden match will be presented in the quarter-finals of the 2023 U-27 World Cup between Brazil U-17 vs Argentina U-17 at the Jakarta International Stadium on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 19.00 WIB.
The meeting was linked to the party of the senior level national team between Brazil and Argentina in the 2026 Conmebol Zone World Cup Qualification on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
At that time, the Samba Team lost 0-1 against its guests at the Maracana Stadium, Rio de Janeiro.
Brazil U-17 admits that it is not affected by the results of its seniors and the heat pressure that includes the match. They only focused on looking at the quarter-final match that was already in sight.
You see, they are faced with a busy schedule between the recovery session and the next match. No wonder, focusing on yourself is important.
Especially at this time, it's how to increase the concentration of players in everything. Because this match is not 90 minutes, more than that. Every minute, players have to focus on getting the best of their abilities and getting positive results," said Brazil's U-17 coach, Phelipe Leal.
Our focus here is on the U-17 World Cup. No one can shift it. We are not at all affected by the defeat of the senior national team in Maracana," said Leal.
Previously, the Brazilian national team had been involved in hot tension with Argentina when they met in the 2026 World Cup Qualification Conmebol Zone. In fact, the riots also broke out in the stands before the match.
Despite the hot situation that occurred at the senior level, Brazil U-17 became the second most successful team in the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
They are one level below Nigeria's U-17 which has won the world title five times in the tournament.
Seeing this record, Leal wants to win again at the U-17 World Cup in order to match Nigeria's U-17 achievements. This potential is still open.

"It can be present at the U-17 World Cup again, it is our pride. Moreover, we have a chance to qualify for the top four".
"Now is our momentum to go forward and we will try to win," Leal emphasized.
Before the match, the two teams had met frequently, especially in the last two years. They know where their respective strengths and weaknesses are.
However, Brazil U-17 insists it is not afraid and wants to repeat positive results.
We've met many times in the last two years. They (Argentina U-17) are a team that has players with good technical quality."
"We have to be vigilant in 90 minutes of normal play to be able to take advantage of their weaknesses and win," Leal added.
