Schedule For The 2024 U-23 Asian Cup, The Indonesian National Team Meets Qatar

JAKARTA - The 2024 U-23 Asian Cup will start on April 15 to May 3, 2024. This age group match will be held in Qatar as the host.

Officially, the AFC has not announced details of the schedule for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup. However, Indonesia U-23 will most likely play the first match on April 15, 2023 against the host Qatar U-23.

For the Garuda Muda Squad, the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup will be an important moment because of the debut match. Shin Tae-yong's team had never previously participated in the previous five edition finals.

The U-23 Asian Cup which will be held in Qatar will be attended by 16 teams divided into four groups. Indonesia U-23 is in Group A.

The Garuda Muda squad qualified for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup finals after winning competition in Group K in the qualifying round.

They were able to beat China Taipei U-23 and Turkmenistan U-23 to win Group K.

After qualifying, Indonesia U-23 was at Pot 4 in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup drawing. The pot distribution was based on the previous U-23 Asian Cup performance and the Red and White Team had never performed.

From the results of the draw conducted on Thursday, November 23, 2023, Indonesia U-23 joined in Group A with Qatar U-23, Australia U-23, and Jordan U-23.
