MG Cyberster Variant Prices And Specifications Revealed

JAKARTA - The price of the 2024 MG Cyberster electric car for the Chinese market has been announced, with prices ranging from 319,800 yuan to 359,800 yuan, equivalent to IDR 700-785 million.

This sporty-style electric car comes in three variants that offer up to 400 kW of power and a range of up to 580 km, as reported by the Drive page, Friday, November 24.

MG Motor, a British brand now owned by Chinese automotive giant Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC), said Cyberster would be produced in China, most likely in a factory located in Ningde.

The following are complete specifications based on available variants:

The MG Cyberster is a large roadster, has a length dimension of 4,535 mm, a width of 1,913 mm, a height of 1,329 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. Available in three travel variants, namely 501 km, 580 km, and 520 km, with the support of the ternary NMC battery produced by the CATL-SAIC joint venture company.

The variant with a distance of 501 km has a power of 231 kW for rear wheel drive and 475 Nm peak torque. The 580 km variant also uses a rear wheel drive, with a power of 350 kW and a peak torque of 475 Nm.

Meanwhile, the variant with a distance of 520 km is equipped with an all-wheel drive system, generating a power of 400 kW (536 hp) and a peak torque of 725 Nm.

With a tantalizing style and a couple-style design, MG Cyberster features a sports car-type intake hole in general, adding to the dashing impression on this electric roadster.
