After The Chaos Incident At The Stadium, Gresik United Make Sure There Are No Casualties
JAKARTA - Gresik United confirmed that there were no casualties in the aftermath of the chaos that occurred between the supporters and the police at the Gelora Joko Samudro Stadium.
The incident occurred after the second round of Liga 2 match between Gresik United and Deltras FC Sidoarjo on Sunday 19 November 2023 afternoon WIB.
"If there is no victim (the soul)," said Deni Ali as the Gresik United officer media in his statement on Monday, November 20, 2023.
"So, it happened not in the stadium. It was the game was over," he said.
Even so, Deni Ali explained that there were 27 people who suffered minor injuries and had to undergo treatment. Of the total number, 22 of them are Gresik United supporters and the rest are security forces.

"Those who are supporters are due to inhaling tear gas. However, after receiving medical treatment at the hospital, they were sent home that night because their condition was good," he said.
As is known, the chaos occurred because supporters were disappointed with the minor results achieved by Gresik United.
Playing at home with the support of supporters directly, Gresik United was forced to submit 1-2 to Deltras FC Sidoarjo.
