Indonesian Air Force Plane Crashes On The Slope Of Mount Bromo Pasuruan, BPBD Towards The Location
JAKARTA - The TNI AU Super Tucano plane crashed on the slopes of Mount Bromo, Pasuruan, East Java. BPBD is heading to the crash site.
"We are still on the way to the location. The location is in the hills," said Head of BPBD Pasuruan Sugeng Hariyadi as quoted from Kompas TV broadcast, Thursday, November 16.
BPBD received reports that the plane crashed from residents. Videos of the crash of the plane including fire and black smoke have also spread.
"We were asked to bring a body bag," said Sugeng.
It was reported that the location of the crash of the Indonesian Air Force plane was far from settlements. The location is said to be only accessible to two-wheeled vehicles.
There has been no official statement from the TNI regarding the Indonesian Air Force plane that crashed in Pasuruan.
Quoted from tni-au.mil.id, the Super Tucano aircraft purchased by the Indonesian government from Brazil in 2012 was placed in Squadron 21 Abd Malang.
