JAKARTA - Secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Nusron Wahid, appealed to supporting volunteers not to gather in front of the Indonesian KPU office during the draw and determination of the 2024 presidential and vice presidential candidates.

"What is clear is that we have no direction, we urge no crowds," said Nusron on Jalan Cik Ditiro, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, November 14.

However, Nusron did not prohibit the masses of supporters of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka from coming to the KPU. However, the Golkar Party DPP management reminded them to be careful of intruders who could potentially be present in their midst.

"People who wear Prabowo-Gibran clothes are okay. The important thing is that we don't direct, we don't recommend, but if someone leaves, who can prohibit it? And the name of the community is careful, it could be that he provokes other parties," he said.

Nusron explained that the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) will board an electric car to the Indonesian KPU building to attend the draw for the 2024 presidential election participants.

The reason for the presidential and vice-presidential candidates to ride electric cars is a form of commitment to continue President Joko Widodo's development program.

"Why is the increase in electric buses? This is because of course the commitment of our partners to continue the process of downstreaming and industrialization and the green energy and zero emission ecosystem that has been launched by Pak Jokowi," said Nusron.

"Because electric cars are environmentally friendly, we reduce emissions, so that the environment is healthy, because electric cars there are batteries, and the batteries in the future are in the process of being developed in Indonesia," he continued.

Nusron then revealed the plan for Prabowo-Gibran's departure from the location of the gathering point. According to him, candidate pairs and officials of KIM's political parties will gather starting at 16.30 WIB and move on to Maghrib.

"Later, the leadership of the party is expected to have gathered here at 16.30 p.m., then the vice president will come here around 16.40-16.45 p.m., then the presidential candidate will come around 17.00 p.m. then enter the friendly for a while, and later will depart from here around 18.10-18.30 p.m., it is hoped that it will arrive at the KPU," said Nusron.
