TPN Ganjar-Mahfud Jokowi's Value Is Now Different From The Previous One, Why?
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Ganjar-Mahfud MD National Winning Team (TPN), Usman Tokan, assessed that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was different. Jokowi was once considered a statesman but now it has changed.
"In my opinion, he (President Jokowi, ed) is a statesman. Why is that? During the process, all political parties that were in coalition together during the first and second periods he always joined hands to build this country," Usman told reporters at the Media Center TPN Ganjar-Mahfud, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, November 13.
However, this attitude was considered to have faded after Jokowi allowed his son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, to run as a vice presidential candidate (cawapres) accompanying Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election. "Today he is still in the position as president but there is his family as a vice presidential candidate," said Usman.
With this condition, Usman hopes that all parties such as the TNI, Polri, and the state civil apparatus (ASN). President Jokowi is also expected to grow his statesmanship again by showing his neutrality.
"Hopefully our president, Pak Jokowi, is neutral in his position as president. Protecting all political parties, protecting the community," said the spokesman for the United Development Party (PPP) DPP.
