Becoming Tencent's Partner, Meta Will Return To China With A VR Headset
JAKARTA Since 2019, Meta has been banned from entering China due to restrictions in the country. However, after 14 years of not having access, Meta will eventually return to China.
In the HT Tech report, Meta did not return to China to peddle their social media platform. Mark Zuckerberg's company will sell its virtual reality (VR) headset at a low cost.
Meta could deploy their headsetVR in China after collaborating with the world's largest game maker and in China, Tencent Holdings. Thanks to its second deal, the headsetVR will go on sale at the end of next year.
Tencent will produce headsetVR with specifications to Meta software. Reportedly, the headsetini will be marketed under the name Tencent, not Meta. However, this plan is still not unanimous and can change at any time.

Until now, it is not known what Meta headset model will be produced in China. However, this headset will be priced at a cheaper price. Although the lens is lower than Quest 3, the graphics displayed will be more sophisticated than Quest 2.
