Apple Analyst: New Generation IPad Pro Will Use OLED Screen
JAKARTA Apple has been using the OLED screen for a long time, but only on the iPhone and Apple Watch. Now, it is reported that Apple will soon use the OLED screen on their iPad Pro device.
Despite having used the OLED screen since 2017, Apple has never changed the LCD screen on iMac, MacBook, and iPad. There are many shortcomings in LCD so that the turn to the OLED screen is very good news.
Mark Gurman's report in Briomberg says that Apple will announce the latest iPad Pro with an OLED screen next year. The timing is not yet known, but Gurman insists that there is a major overhaul.
In addition to bringing the OLED screen, this latest generation iPad Pro will come with two sizes, namely 11 inches and 13 inches. However, the information regarding the size of the iPad is still unclear even though Gurman gets the information from relevant sources.
Meanwhile, The Verge quoted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's statement regarding the iPad Pro OLED rumors. Through a Medium upload, Kuo said that Apple will produce two OLED iPads with Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oksid technology (LTPO).

The use of this technology makes the latest generation iPad will have a refresh1Hz speed of up to 120Hz, similar to the speed on the latest Apple Watch and iPhone. Its performance and power consumption are expected to outperform the iPad Pro Mini LED.
It should be understood that OLED is clearly superior to the LED screen. In addition to the influence of the screen that can be fainter, contrast and grayish gray is not very good at LED. Some people may not be bothered by the color problem, but the gaming experience will be different.
By using OLED, the screen will become more concentrated and the appearance will be better when watching or playing with a dark look. The reason is, OLED is smarter in taking advantage of the contrast.
