PLN Officers Who Were Shocked By Electricity In Cempaka Putih Have Been Treated At The Matraman Hospital

JAKARTA - Awang Abdul Mustaqim (33), an officer of PLN UP3 Cempaka Putih who was electrocuted while working, was finally evacuated by Matraman Police officers to the Matraman Hospital for intensive treatment.

"After being evacuated, the victim of PLN UP3 Cempaka Putih was taken to the Matraman Hospital for medical treatment to ensure the victim's health," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Matraman Police, Iptu Mochamad Zen when confirmed by VOI, Sunday night, November 12.

When the incident occurred, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Matraman Police, Iptu Mochamad Zen, also visited the crime scene (TKP). The police also coordinated with related agencies to save the victims of the PLN UP3 Cempaka Putih officer.

"The victim of PLN UP3 Cempaka Putih was rescued, only abrasions on his right hand. We have contacted the victim's family," he said.

Meanwhile, based on witness testimony, Ibnu Fadil, a co-worker of the victim, fellow PLN UP3 Cempaka Putih, said that previously he and the victim had carried out new cable and connection activities to residential areas.

Then the victims of PLN UP3 Cempaka Putih climbed the electricity and wanted to connect the cable.

"The victim mishandled and an electrical short occurred," he said.

Furthermore, Ibnu immediately asked for help from residents and East Jakarta firefighters. The victims of the PLN UP3 Cempaka Putih officer were immediately evacuated from the electric pole by firefighters.

Previously, it was reported that a PLN officer named Awang (33) had a seizure after being electrocuted while carrying out work checking electricity poles on Jalan Pisangan Baru Utara, RW 13, Pisangan Baru Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta, Sunday, November 12.

The victim, who was still using the safety equipment, was found hanging over the electric pole he was repairing. Residents who knew about the incident immediately contacted the firefighters.

"The victim was still alive when he was evacuated by 2 rescue teams, totaling 12 officers. The victim was found hanging from the PLN pole due to being electrocuted," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, Sunday, November 12.
