PPE Corruption Cases At The Ministry Of Health, KPK Prevents 5 People From Going Abroad
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has proposed the prevention of five people abroad to Immigration. Prevention is carried out in the context of the investigation of the alleged corruption case of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) for the period 2020-2022.
"Currently, the KPK has submitted a precaution to the Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia for 5 people not to travel abroad," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, November 10.
Based on information, the five people, namely, Budi Karya as the state civil apparatus (ASN) at the Ministry of Health, Hermansyah, ASN from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).
Then, Satrio Wibowo and Ahmad Taufik as private, as well as A. Isdar Yusuf, advocates.
"Qdapun pihak dimaksud yaitu 2 ASN dan 3 pihak swasta," sebutnya.
Prevention is carried out so that the five people cooperate when conducting an examination of the PPE of the Ministry of Health corruption. They were prevented from leaving the country for six months.
"Regarding the need for information from several parties to support the investigation process of the alleged corruption case in the procurement of PPE at the Indonesian Ministry of Health," he said.
"The cooperative attitude of these parties is needed to accelerate the process of filing cases," said Ali.

State financial losses occurred from the project value of Rp3.03 trillion for the procurement of 5 million PPE packages.
"So for the time being the state's financial losses reach hundreds of billions of rupiah for 2020, of course we will continue to develop it further," said Ali.
