Deputy Of Commission I F-PDIP Asked The TNI Commander: Can You Not Reject The President's Order Against The Law?
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the DPR from the PDIP faction, Utut Adianto, questioned the neutrality of the TNI in the 2024 election to the TNI Commander, Admiral Yudo Margono during a working meeting at the DPR building.
Utut questioned the courage of the TNI Commander to reject the president's order if the order was against the law.
"The TNI has been neutral. Who is the boss of the TNI? The President as the supreme commander said A, can you refuse? If the order is against the law?," Utut said in a working meeting in the House of Representatives Commission I room, Tuesday, November 7.
Utut also reminded KSAD Agus Subiyanto to practice dealing with political situations neutrally, if later elected as TNI Commander. Moreover, the political situation ahead of the 2024 General Election is getting hotter.
"You have to practice, you will be the commander in chief during turbulence, these days are not normal days, there are many political anomalies," he said.
