Ramla Ali Rebut Holds WBA After Bend Julissa Alejandra Guzman
JAKARTA Ramla Ali reclaimed the intercontinental WBA title after his points win over Julissa Alejandra Guzman from Mexico in Monte Carlo.
This victory also became Ali's revenge against Guzman, who gave him his first professional defeat last June.
Ali, who is 34 years old, won this victory after struggling with unsuitable conditions. Especially the condition of his leg is weak or jelly jeg.
He lacked energy in the ring because he didn't sleep the night before and had a menstrual period the morning before the match.
"It was very emotional because I didn't sleep last night and then I started menstruating," Ali said while speaking to DAZN as reported by Sky Sport.
Guzman tried to land a left hook towards Ali's body and head in the first round. However, Ramla Ali replied with a perfect right jab in the middle of the second and third rounds.

However, he was able to control himself and maneuvered inside and outside the attack distance in the last two rounds. The three judges gave a score of 96-94 for Ali's victory after 10 rounds.
"I'm asking for a rematch because I really want to prove something, that I'm a better boxer, and I feel like I did tonight," said Ramla Ali.
