2 Victims Lost Due To Ship Sinking Accident In Nunukan
TARAKAN - The LCT Rimba Raya ship had an accident and sank in the Manggari River, Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan, on Friday night (3/11).
"A total of five victims managed to survive at the time of the incident, while two victims have not been found," said Tarakan Basarnas Chief of Operations and Preparedness Dede Hariana, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 4.
Two victims in the search on behalf of M. Dzulkifly (34), a resident of Bolong Nunukan River and M. Figil Syawal Agrefi (39), a resident of Nunukan.
Meanwhile, the survivors were Wardana (26), Muzzakir (27), Israwati (27), M. Syabrianto (34) and Agus Syaiful Hayat (30).
Information entered the Tarakan Basarnas Office on Saturday (4/11) at around 09.25 WITA from Dzulkarnaen was an LCT Rimba Raya ship agent.

He said Dzulkarnaen provided information on Friday night at 22.30 WITA, there had been an accident of a sinking ship loaded with rock and soil remains.
"The LCT Rimba Raya ship had an accident and sank with the aim of Nunukan to the Manggari River, Kaltara," he said.
As a result of crashing into a wooden basin with seven people in the Manggari River, Nunukan Kaltara, at the time of the incident the position of the ship was 4°05'56 "N 117°21'32"E.
Currently, Basarnas has dispatched a team to the location and coordinated with potential in the field.
