Hylo Open 2023: Rehan/Lisa To Semifinals, Dejan/Gloria Run Aground
JAKARTA - Mixed doubles pair Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati managed to qualify for the semifinals of the Hylo Open 2023.
That success, after they defeated the British pair Callum Hemming/Estelle van Leeuwen, two straight games 21-14 and 21-12, Friday, November 3, 2023 evening WIB.
Rehan/Lisa, who are the seventh seed, immediately missed two points at the start of the first game before rising with nine consecutive points to lead the 10-2 lead.
They then continued their dominance with a difference of eight points at the interval. Rehan/Lisa continued to be above the wind after that and did not give the opponent the opportunity to get closer.
In the second game, Rehan/Lisa's dominance continued with an 11-1 advantage during rest. After that, they were held back by one point before producing the next five points in a row.
