A Total Of 42 JAD Terrorist Suspects Arrested, Plans To Fail The 2024 Election
Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested 42 suspected terrorists of the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) network led by Abu Oemar who planned to thwart the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).
This number increased after the arrest of two suspects with the initials AH alias AM and DAM in West Java, on Wednesday, November 1.
"So the total of all of this group is now 42 people, this AO group is 42 people," said Densus 88 Anti-terror Spokesperson Kombes Aswin Siregar to reporters, Friday, November 3.
It was stated that the arrests of 40 terrorist suspects were carried out in several areas. 23 of them were arrested in West Java, 11 were arrested in DKI Jakarta, and six in Central Sulawesi.
"Until yesterday 27-28 we arrested 40 people and then we carried out developments," he said.
From the arrest, development was carried out and succeeded in arresting AH alias AM and DAM.
