EV Peugeot Version 5008 Latest Generation Coming Next Year
JAKARTA - Stellantis, a multinational automotive company that houses various brands, plans to expand its electrification lineup by immediately presenting EV version 5008 Peugeot in August next year.
The latest generation electric car will replace the conventional emissioning engine model. The company also said that the SUV was under construction and was not a surprise considering this model was caught on a spy camera while testing.
Stellantis said that this model will be launched simultaneously with various other electric car models such as Peugeot e-408, Fiat 600e, and Fiat Topolino.
Reporting from Carscoops, Thursday, November 2, this car will be based on the same STLA Medium platform as Peugeot 3008. This technology helps the performance of EV Stellantis ranks reach up to 700 km in single charge.
It is known that Peugeot 5008 is one of the most popular models in the ranks of French brands with 34,560 units sold during September this year or increased significantly compared to last year's 26,425 vehicles.
The latest generation of 5008 is expected to come by adopting the same design philosophy as the rest of Peugeot's cars. It is likely that the SUV will have a 5008 front facility with a HED and DRL forward light similar to 3008 with a radical grip shape.

Then, the EV version will have a 73 kWh battery package or something higher like 98 kWh, which is the same as e-3008. This allows the car to move with power between 207 and 316 dk.
